Terms and Conditions: operator and scope

LSA.GLOBAL LANGUAGE SERVICE ACADEMY LLC operates LSA GLOBAL LingoLab at lingolab.lsa-global.com. Our correspondence address is Office 91, 254 Chapman Rd, Suite 101-B, Newark, Delaware 19702, USA. General questions can be sent to contacts@lsa-global.com. The contact panel below links to our published support and refund information.

These Terms and Conditions address LingoLab’s preparation service. A separate translation assignment, live course or official examination booking may have its own agreement. A linked information page does not make every LSA GLOBAL service part of one purchase. The specific description and confirmation of your order identify what you have bought. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over any inconsistent wording in these terms or a linked policy.

02

Independent preparation and official examinations

LingoLab provides independent language-examination preparation and practice. Names such as Goethe, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, DELF, DALF, TCF, TEF and HSK identify examination pathways discussed in the catalogue. They do not imply that LingoLab owns those examinations or has accreditation, endorsement or authority to issue their official certificates.

A test result, automated comment or human correction is preparation feedback. It does not guarantee a pass, admission, employment, a visa or recognition by a receiving institution. Verify the required examination and result with that institution and check current rules with the examination owner. Creating a LingoLab account or paying for a preparation plan does not automatically register you for an official examination. Its booking, fee and identity requirements remain separate.

03

Who can accept these Terms and Conditions?

Provide accurate registration details, use an email address you can access and complete the required verification. Choose a strong password and keep personal action links private. You are responsible for using your account appropriately and telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not create accounts for impersonation or to evade trial or access restrictions.

The general self-registration service is not intended for children under 13. Where a minor needs parental involvement or legal authority to enter an agreement, contact us before registration or purchase. Email verification alone does not establish age or authority. These Terms and Conditions do not transfer responsibility for another person’s account to you merely because you share a device. Sign out before someone else uses the same browser.

04

Language, examination and level choices

Your interface language controls navigation and supported messages. Your preparation department, examination and level or target are separate choices. Selecting French menus does not necessarily mean that you are preparing for a French examination. Check these choices before requesting access, starting work or paying for a plan.

Examination families have different scales, skills and formats. German preparation in the current catalogue is scoped through C1; other pathways can use different CEFR levels, bands, scores or HSK groupings. Do not assume that every examination follows the same four-module pattern. A changed preference does not rewrite a previous order or convert an existing assessment to another language. These Terms and Conditions require the actual selected offer to determine the access provided.

05

Published information and available services

A public department or examination page can explain a pathway before a complete assessment is available for it. Read the availability notice and the plan details. The catalogue is not a promise that every listed examination, level, skill or correction route is immediately purchasable. Access depends on the published content, your entitlement and the relevant service configuration.

Under these Terms and Conditions, we may maintain, correct or expand preparation content. Changes should not be used to remove a material paid entitlement without addressing the affected purchase. If an advertised paid feature is unavailable, contact support with the order and the feature concerned. The remedies available depend on the circumstances, the applicable offer, our refund policy and mandatory law. A general maintenance statement does not eliminate those rights.

06

Free trials and reminders

Where offered, a free trial has the duration, starting allowance and content scope shown when you activate it. Its deadline is maintained by the service and continues while you are signed out or your device is switched off. Refreshing a page, changing language or clearing cookies does not create another trial or extend the expiry.

You can use the available trial controls to cancel access or change reminder preferences. Cancelling a trial does not automatically erase completed work or make the same trial available again. A trial does not automatically become a paid purchase merely because it expires. You may choose an available paid offer separately. These Terms and Conditions do not promise that reminders will reach your inbox at an exact time; email delivery and scheduled processing can vary.

07

Plans, prices and order confirmation

Before purchasing, check the plan, department, level or scope, period of access, included services, currency and total shown for the order. A price that is missing or an unavailable conversion is not an invitation to assume a price. Ask for clarification before proceeding if the display is incomplete or inconsistent.

Configured prices and supported currency conversions can change for later purchases. The amount and currency confirmed for your actual order govern that transaction, subject to correction of a genuine error in accordance with applicable law. Your payment provider or bank may have its own currency or transaction charges. Do not assume that a displayed conversion guarantees the rate used by your bank. Keep the order confirmation so that any question can be checked against the specific purchase.

08

Payment verification and recurring access

Paid access is activated through the applicable payment-verification process. Returning from a payment page or possessing an unverified screenshot is not by itself proof that the order has been paid. If money appears to have left your account but access is missing, contact support with the payment reference and avoid repeated purchases until the position is checked.

A recurring arrangement applies only when the selected offer and checkout expressly provide for it. Its billing period and cancellation terms must be shown for that arrangement. Where a supported cancellation control is available, use it and retain confirmation; otherwise contact support. Deleting a test record or closing a browser is not a subscription-cancellation instruction. These Terms and Conditions do not authorise undisclosed recurring charges.

09

Your device and assessment conditions

Use a compatible current browser, a reliable connection and the permissions needed for the selected activity. Listening requires working audio output; recording requires a microphone and browser permission. Test your equipment before a timed task and read its instructions, including playback limits and submission requirements. Local recovery can help after an interruption, but it is not a substitute for a successful server save.

These Terms and Conditions require you to follow the selected task’s rules about assistance, reference materials and attempts. Do not represent heavily assisted practice as independent performance. A lost connection, an expired session or a denied microphone permission can affect work. Report a fault with the task and approximate time so it can be investigated. We do not promise that every browser extension, device setting or third-party network will work without interruption.

10

Correction routes and the meaning of results

Available correction routes can include automated assessment, optional AI simulation or human review. The selected offer determines which routes you can request. AI simulation requires its own consent and may involve processing written work or audio through the provider described in the Privacy Policy. Automated feedback can misunderstand an answer and should be read critically.

A human review may require assignment, an invitation, completion and release before feedback appears. Do not assume that starting a request means a reviewer has already accepted it. Use the available workflow or contact support when the status is unclear. These Terms and Conditions distinguish practice feedback from official certification. If a result seems wrong, identify the task and the specific issue so that an available review process can address it.

11

Respectful and authorised use

Use the service for legitimate preparation and administration of your own authorised work. Do not attempt to access another person’s account or recordings, bypass payment or role checks, interfere with the service, upload malicious material or use automated traffic to overwhelm it. Do not use contact or invitation features for unsolicited messages or harassment.

Only provide another person’s contact information when you have a proper reason and authority to do so. Do not submit unlawful material or unnecessary confidential information belonging to clients, colleagues or family members. We may investigate misuse and take proportionate steps to protect users and the service. Any restriction should be considered in light of the facts and applicable rights, rather than treating an ordinary technical mistake as intentional abuse.

12

Content ownership and permitted use

LSA GLOBAL and relevant rights holders retain rights in their examination-preparation materials, recordings, software, design and brand assets. Your access permits personal use within the scope of the selected service. It does not grant permission to resell the question bank, publish protected listening files or distribute another candidate’s correction. Official examination names and materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights.

You retain rights you hold in your own original answers and recordings. By submitting them, you permit the processing, storage and limited sharing needed to deliver your requested assessment and correction, as explained in the Privacy Policy. This permission is not a transfer of ownership of your work and does not grant an unrestricted right to sell it for unrelated purposes.

13

Records, archiving and permanent deletion

The records controls allow eligible completed assessments to be archived and eligible archived records to be permanently deleted. Archiving preserves information outside the active view. Permanent deletion removes the associated candidate assessment data and private recordings through the cleanup process and can be irreversible. Review the selected records and keep any information you need before confirming it.

An active attempt or ongoing correction may need to be completed before deletion is available. Removing an assessment does not remove shared exam content, cancel an order or erase every account or accounting record. For account closure or a broader privacy request, contact us. These Terms and Conditions do not turn storage cleanup into a payment refund or waive a legal right to request erasure.

14

Terms and Conditions: cancellation and refunds

LSA GLOBAL’s published Refund Policy provides the relevant commercial refund information where it covers your purchase. The policy is linked below, together with the support address for refund requests. Read it alongside the specific offer and keep the version relevant to your order. Under these Terms and Conditions, refund eligibility and amounts depend on your purchase, the published policy and applicable law.

Mandatory rights remain available even if a policy suggests a narrower remedy. Where applicable consumer law provides a cooling-off period or remedies for faulty digital content or services, those protections prevail. Starting digital access does not automatically remove a statutory cancellation right: any required express request, acknowledgement and confirmation must be satisfied. A general registration checkbox is not an automatic waiver of those rights.

15

How to raise a purchase problem

Send a refund or technical-support request to support@lsaglobal-translate.co.uk, or use the contact route linked below. Identify your account, order reference, purchase date, service and the outcome you seek. Explain the problem briefly. Do not include a full card number, password or unnecessary sensitive documents. If further evidence is needed, ask how to provide it appropriately.

For a cancellation request, a clear statement of your decision and the relevant order is helpful; a special phrase is not required to exercise a statutory right. Keep a copy of the request and any response. A request under these Terms and Conditions is assessed against the actual purchase, the published policy and the applicable law. An account deletion or an assessment archive action is not a substitute for communicating a purchase dispute.

16

Service responsibility and limits

We are responsible for providing the purchased service in accordance with the applicable agreement and law. Preparation outcomes also depend on your starting level, study, circumstances and the official examination. We do not guarantee a particular score or an uninterrupted connection from every device. Informational links are provided to help you check current requirements, not to control the destination organisation’s decisions.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer remedies. Any request for compensation is assessed in light of the circumstances and applicable law. If an event prevents delivery, the appropriate response must reflect the affected service and your rights. Report the issue promptly so that practical steps, a correction or an applicable remedy can be considered.

17

Suspension, closure and unresolved matters

Access can end when a plan expires, a trial is cancelled or an account is closed. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, a security concern or an unresolved payment issue. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us, unless doing so would compromise a legitimate investigation or legal requirement.

A restriction does not automatically erase your outstanding refund, privacy or other legal rights. Contact us if you believe access was restricted incorrectly. Account closure is distinct from erasing every record: lawful retention may still apply to payments, disputes or security evidence. The Privacy Policy explains those distinctions. These Terms and Conditions continue to apply to obligations that reasonably survive the end of access.

18

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

The revision date identifies this version of the Terms and Conditions. We may update them as the service develops, but a later change does not automatically rewrite a completed purchase or remove an accrued right. Material changes affecting an ongoing service must be addressed with appropriate notice or agreement where required. You can save or print the page using the control below.

The interface provides English, French, Spanish and German versions to help users understand the service. If wording appears inconsistent, ask for clarification; a translation issue does not remove mandatory local rights. Raise a disagreement with us first so it can be investigated. These terms do not impose an exclusive foreign court, mandatory arbitration or a waiver of access to a competent authority or court where the law protects that access.
